The ski resort of Foppolo, located in the Valle Brembana is a one hour drive from Tranquillita.  Foppolo is perfect for families, beginner and intermediate skiers.  There is a nursery slope, wide blue runs, plentiful red runs and a few black runs.

An adult 3 day, three area lift pass valid on the slopes of San Simone, Foppolo and Carona costs 58€, 76€ for 4 days.  A child 3 day lift pass is 43€.
Adult boot / ski hire is 39€ for 3 days.  Child boot / ski and helmet hire for 3 days is 26€.

Private ski lessons and ski school are available.

Within the resort there are numerous restaurants offering a wide variety of snacks and meals at reasonable prices.  

A large free car park links directly on to slopes with the chair lift only 50 metres away.  Roads leading to the resort are gritted and cleared very regular if snow is likely.  However please note when driving in Italy when there is a possibility of snow you must carry snow chains.
